fishbowl: women in advertising 

In July of 2017, I joined the Fishbowl app, and immediately searched for a group I’d been longing to connect with: the women of our ad workforce. No group yet existed, so I created the “Women in Advertising” bowl to provide an accessible, anonymous space for women in the industry to ask every question they’d been too afraid to.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to facilitate countless incredible converstions and moderate this community as it grows: now to a number of over 8,000 members. I’ve partnered with the Fishbowl team to help promote AMA events (with industry idols like Karen Costello and Cindy Gallop) and several female-led initiatives and startups either organized or popularized straight from the app: Where Are the Boss Ladies, We Are Shelance, and Fellow.
